Hot Lunch Program

Lunch costs $2.70 for grades 5K-5 and $2.90 for grades 6-8. Your children may qualify for free meals or for reduced price meals. Reduced price is $ .40 for lunch. The federally supported Hot Lunch Program provides assistance to families that qualify. Qualification is based on family income and family size. St John the Baptist school serves healthy and nutritious meals to our students.

ChooseMyPlate.gov provides useful information to help consumers build healthier diets with resources and tools for dietary assessment, nutrition education, and other user-friendly nutrition information. This online resource is designed to enable people to make healthier food choices for themselves, their families, and their children.

MyPlate Kids' Place provides online resources and tools for children to help them make healthier choices in a fun and appealing way. Parents can find reliable information and resources as well as “teachable moments” that can influence children’s choices at home and at school.

To file a program complaint of discrimination, complete the USDA Program Discrimination Complaint Form, (AD-3027) found online at: http://www.ascr.usda.gov/complaint_filing_cust.html, and at any USDA office, or write a letter addressed to USDA and provide in the letter all of the information requested in the form. To request a copy of the complaint form, call (866) 632-9992. Submit your completed form or letter to USDA by:
