Inclement Weather Policy

St. John the Baptist follows the Plymouth Joint School District with regard to closings and delays (late starts). You can visit the http://www.plymouth.k12.wi.us/Schools/DIS/cancel.html for notifications. However there may be occasions when a decision to close the facility is made independently of the district. Check the parish website, call the office at (920) 893-5961or check local broadcasters WHBL 1330 AM, Channel 12 WISN, Channel 4 WTMJ and , Channel 2 WBAY for closing information. Every attempt will be made to have decisions made by 7:00 a.m. for morning activities and 3:00 p.m. for evening activities. View complete Inclement Weather Policy.

Exemplary Recognition

SJB school was recently awarded the Exemplary Recognition in Mission and Catholic Identity by the Milwaukee Archdiocese. The Exemplary Recognition Program, based on the National Standards and Benchmarks for Effective Catholic Elementary and Secondary Schools, honors schools that have demonstrated innovation and outstanding results in one of the following categories 1) Academic Excellence, 2) Educating the Whole Student, 3) Mission and Catholic Identity, and 4)Technology Integration.

Pre-school Format for 3- and 4-Year Old Children

We listened to families' needs and have responded with a new flexible format for our early childhood program. Learn more about this program.

Together, 3- and 4-year old preschoolers will participate in an engaging, developmentally appropriate, curriculum that meets them where they are at. Children will grow intellectually, socially and physically. Come....learn, play and pray with us!

From the Principal’s Desk

Besides the core subjects, St. John the Baptist students attend Art, Spanish, Physical Education, Guidance class and Music weekly.  Forensics, Chess, Student Council, Basketball, and Volleyball are the extracurricular opportunities available for students to participate in.  St. John the Baptist School stresses the importance of sharing God-given talents and gifts with others.
