St. John the Baptist Catholic School offers its students various services to meet academic, social, behavioral, emotional, and spiritual needs.  St. John the Baptist School recognizes current research and public-school laws that require students to be placed in the most conducive and least restrictive environment to promote learning, this being foremost in the regular education classroom along with peers.  Furthermore, St. John the Baptist Catholic School teachers realize that their instruction requires differentiation to meet the needs of all students, struggling as well as gifted.  To best meet students’ academic, social, and spiritual needs, teachers will communicate with parents about student concerns and areas of weakness or success.  Teachers will provide re-teaching, remediation, and enrichment of content within the classroom when needed. Additionally, St. John the Baptist Catholic School is blessed to have a full-time learning support teacher with a special education license who works with students on all ends of the spectrum as the need arises. A part-time counselor is available to support students' academic, social-emotional, and spiritual growth by providing guidance, promoting a safe and caring environment, and helping students develop healthy relationships rooted in Gospel values.
