I believe Catholic education recognizes the learner as an irreplaceable and unique human person made in the image of God. We are called into existence by a loving God and launched on a journey back to our Creator. Catholic education is a shared responsibility. Parents are the first educators, not the only, educators of their children. It is my belief that students can, and will, learn when subject matter is presented in a developmentally appropriate and interesting manner. I strive to integrate religious values into all aspects of learning.
It is my practice to teach the whole child to help the child grow spiritually, socially, intellectually, and emotionally as an independent learner. The best part about teaching at Saint John the Baptist Catholic School is being able to add “in Faith” to my philosophy!
