Welcome to Holy Hiking with St. John the Baptist - Plymouth.  Each month after the 9:30 am Mass hikers gather to explore a new trail together, spend time in nature, find little miracles, and be in awe of God's creation.  You can meet in the Gathering Place after Mass to get information about the location of the hike or carpool, or meet us at the hike location at 11:00/11:15. All ages & abilities are welcome.

jAMES teLLEN wOODLAND sCULPTURE gARDEN AND THE bALZER wILDERNESS tRAIL

5634 Evergreen Drive, Sheboygan

Meet after Mass to carpool or caravan or meet there by 11:15 am.

Free and open to the public, with a small parking lot off of Evergreen Drive, visitors can stroll along a path to view Tellen's concrete sculptures, created from 1942 until his death in 1957. A love of nature and a deep-seated spirituality is evident in Tellen's work. The garden area leads to a footpath along the Black River that is part of Balzer Wilderness Park. Hobb's Woods County Park

N4197 Hickory Rd, 3 miles south of Fond du Lac

Meet after Mass to carpool or caravan or meet at the park by 11:20 am.

Join us for a new Holy Hiking adventure and a spring wildflower hunt. Hobbs Woods is a 60-acre county park devoted to hiking and nature study that includes about 3 miles of nature trails. Most of the park is thickly wooded, but includes several acres of prairie and Parsons Creek carves a large ravine through the park, and harbors some naturally reproducing brook trout. Come find God's wonders of spring!
